Registered Staff Nurse
The Registered Staff Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting physicians during clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth and efficient healthcare operations. This position involves hands-on patient care, medication administration, and close collaboration with the medical team to support recovery and overall patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Services:
- Provide direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting in medical procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and intravenous treatments accurately.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely documentation.
- Assist doctors and specialists during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and uphold hygiene standards.
Emergency & Critical Care Support:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Support the management of critically ill patients in ICU, emergency units, and operating theatres.
- Monitor post-operative and high-risk patients to detect and manage complications early.
Patient Engagement & Family Support:
- Guide patients and their families on post-treatment care and recovery plans.
- Offer compassionate care while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment.
- Address patient concerns and communicate important updates to the healthcare team.
Coordination & Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with doctors, specialists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Coordinate with laboratory and pharmacy departments for diagnostics and medication needs.
